Four Nights Gone Interview
You’re touring the in the US soon, are you excited?
Of course we are! Most of our tour dates unfortunately got cancelled, but we have lots of 2013 tour plans that we’re very excited about.
Where are you most looking forward to playing?
Everywhere honestly. Most of us haven’t travelled much outside of the tri-state area and we want to see what’s out there, and some of our fans for the first time.
Will you be playing your new single?
Yeah we’ll be playing The Scars Remain.
Describe your new single, The Scars Remain?
It’s probably our most “upbeat” song yet and its definitely a hit, that’s why we chose it to be our single. A lot of new stuff goes in darker or heavier directions so we wanted to release this first as our single.
Are you excited to be working with Mike Watts?
Oh definitely, he’s worked with a lot of great bands and he takes his work very seriously.
What was it like recording your EP, “Crash and Burn”?
It was pretty cool, it was our first time working with a producer and Ethan Bill helped us shape and mold our songs and made them sound better than they’re ever sounded.
How would you describe the EP as a whole?
It was our first real effort as a band, all the songs have messages about not giving up and surviving life no matter how tough things get, which is one of our messages as a band.
Will you be working on a new album/EP anytime soon?
We don’t have anything set in stone right now but we have possible plans to record an album in January. Expect to possibly see it in March or April.
