CROSSFAITH INTERVIEW
We talked to Hiro Ikegawa, bassist for Crossfaith!
You toured the UK a lot in 2012, do you have similar plans this year?
I just cannot say anything yet. But we have an extensive schedule planned out for the next 12 months, but it is almost a secret. haha
How was it playing Warped Tour UK in November?
You know Warped Tour is one of the biggest festivals in the world, and it is also one of my dreams to be there as a band. And our show was just insane. There were tons of people who couldn't get in Kevin Says stage and the crowd were absolutely mental. They did circle pits twice a song, crowdsurfing in various directions, singing along with our songs. It was simply amazing!
Are you excited for Soundwave Festival? Who are you most looking forward to seeing there?
This is the first time to be Australia for all of us. So we are ready to feel big cultural difference such as eat kangaroo balls. haha I'm beyond excited for Soundwave Festival for sure! I'm looking forward to seeing blink-182 because they are like my idol since i was a kid. If they play "Dumpweed", I'm gonna bounce around like an utter maniac. haha
What other plans do you have for 2013?
After we finish this recording with Machine we will be playing at Soundwave, then we'll tour in other countries that we've never had a tour. Can't wait to announce it for everyone!
What is your favourite song that you've ever written?
Jagerbomb. This song's lyric is about our partying style! I really love to play this song on stage, and I also really love to chug this shit! Why don't you take a drink and chug it??
Do you prefer to your in Japan or other countries?
We've been to around 20 countries include Japan so far, and there is still other cool countries we haven't been as well such as American, Indonesia, Russia, Spain, as many others. Every time we have great experience each place. But in particular I prefer to tour in the country we've never been.
If you were a stripper, what would your stripper name be?
It would be "Metal Geisha"! haha
